ISPO presents the seventh edition of ISPO Academy under the title “The circular economy in the digital era”
Next June 3, ISPO, in collaboration with AFYDAD and the Barcelona Moda Center, will organize the seventh edition of ISPO Academy, where retailers, brands, media and businessmen of the sports sector will meet.
ISPO Academy,always focused on the most current and leading topics of the sector, continues to deepen the latest trends in digitalization and, as a novelty, links it to the concept of circular economy, a new approach to business model that companies should introduce of tomorrow to be competitive. Throughout the day, under the heading “The circular economy in the digital era”, various experts will outline the different strategies and indispensable tools to be able to cope successfully with the demands and challenges related to the management of resources and the environment and that today many consumers demand brands.
The event will take place at the Barcelona Moda Center facilities in Sant Quirze del Vallès (Barcelona) and, as usual, will be accompanied by a networking space among those attending the event to strengthen relations with other professionals in the sector.
In the block of digitalization we will have the participation, Alex Cucurull, General Manager in Base Detall Sport S.A. and Fermín Davies, Executive Director of Projects at Sportmas, who will talk about how digitalisation can improve the sales experience and how to improve sales and purchase yields using predictive models, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
In the circular economy block, Jordi Olivé Solà Founding partner and Executive Director of Inèdit Innovació S.L. and Albert Medrano, Global Marketing Manager of Original Buff S.A. they will make us see how, in these moments of transformation that the business world is experiencing, the application of circular economy strategies in our company generates value and makes companies gain competitiveness, while reducing the environmental impact. Attendees will see different examples where the circular economy becomes the key to a process of change necessary and desirable for the company, society and the planet.
We will also have the participation of Christoph Rapp, International Sales, Retail Manager of ISPO, and head of ISPO Academy, who will talk about ISPO’s commitment to digitalization and sustainability, two ISPO strengths.
